Finjal privacy · Effective 24 October 2026
Finjal
privacy policy.
This policy explains what information the game Finjal (فنجال; Android package and iOS bundle ID com.dhrivo.finjal) uses, why, who receives it and the choices you have.
- The game runs on your device. Your team names, settings, statistics and the list of recently seen questions are stored in the app’s private storage. Your device’s backup or transfer features may also copy this data, depending on your settings.
- No accounts, no game servers, no separate game analytics or crash-reporting service. Google’s advertising and consent software still processes data as described below. We, Dhrivo Technologies LLP, do not receive personal data from the game.
- The game shows ads through Google AdMob: full-screen ads between games and optional rewarded ads for lifelines. Google’s ad software collects some device data to show ads, after the consent choices that apply to you.
- There is nothing to buy in the game.
- Uninstall the game or clear its app data to remove the local copy. Manage any operating-system backups separately in your device or backup-provider settings.
1. Who we are
Finjal (the “game”) is published by Dhrivo Technologies LLP (“Dhrivo”, “we”, “us”), which is the controller (under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the “Data Fiduciary”) for the limited processing described here. Contact: support@dhrivotechnologies.com.
2. The game itself: on your device
All questions are built into the app; no server is involved, and the game works without an internet connection. Everything the game keeps is saved in the app’s private storage on your device:
- the team names you type and your game settings;
- your statistics (games played and won);
- which questions you have seen recently, so they are not repeated too soon.
Team names are only shown on the phone during the game. The game does not send this information to Dhrivo. Your operating system may include it in backups or device transfers according to your settings.
Motion sensor. The home screen tilts its artwork slightly as you move the phone. The game reads the phone’s motion sensor for this effect only, on the device; the readings are not stored or sent anywhere.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows two kinds of ads: full-screen (interstitial) ads between games, never during a round, and rewarded ads you may choose to watch for a lifeline or extra time. There are no banner ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK with Google’s User Messaging Platform), provided by Google LLC or, for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited. To request, show, measure and protect ads, Google’s software in the app collects and sends to Google:
| Data | Examples | Used by Google for |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Android advertising ID, app set ID; on iPhone and iPad, the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking | Advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Device and app information | Device model, operating system version, language, app version | Showing ads that fit the device, advertising, analytics |
| Approximate location | Derived from your IP address (not GPS) | Advertising, fraud prevention, legal compliance |
| Diagnostics and ad interactions | Ad load performance, crash information about the ad software, ad views and taps | Ad delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention |
This data goes to Google, not to us; we cannot see it or link it to you. Google processes it under its own policies: how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. The game asks AdMob for ads suitable for teens (maximum ad content rating “T”).
Consent (User Messaging Platform). When the game starts, it runs Google’s User Messaging Platform. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and under some US state privacy laws), you are shown a consent message and can accept, refuse or manage choices for personalised ads. Ads load only after the consent flow allows them, and refusing never blocks the game. Where a consent message applies to you, About (ⓘ) → Ad privacy choices reopens the consent form at any time.
Advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact menu depends on your device). On iPhone and iPad, the advertising identifier is only available if you allow tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Not watching ads. Lifelines are optional. Every game can be played without them.
4. No purchases
The game sells nothing. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
5. No accounts
The game has no sign-up, login or user profile on any server. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.
6. When you contact us
If you email support@dhrivotechnologies.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to answer you and keep a record of the request. Our email is hosted by Hostinger.
7. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for players aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under 13 is using the game and that Google’s ad software has collected data from them, email support@dhrivotechnologies.com and we will help you with the steps to take.
8. Keeping and deleting your data
- Game data stays on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage (Android Settings → Apps → Finjal → Storage → Clear data), removes the local app data. Operating-system backups or device-transfer copies may remain and may restore data when you reinstall or change devices. Manage these through your device or backup provider. Dhrivo does not operate a cloud-save service and cannot restore your local progress.
- Ad data is retained by Google under Google’s retention policies. You can manage it with the ad choices in section 3 and in your Google account.
- Support emails are kept for up to 2 years after your request is closed, unless the law requires longer; ask and we will delete them.
See also how to delete your data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India’s DPDP Act 2023, the EU/UK GDPR, or the data protection laws of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman), you may have rights to access, correct, erase or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, to nominate someone to exercise your rights, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because the game stores progress locally and sends none to us, you can exercise most of these rights directly: by using Ad privacy choices, by resetting your advertising ID, or by uninstalling the game. For anything else, write to support@dhrivotechnologies.com with “Privacy” in the subject; we will reply within 30 days.
10. Security and transfers
Game data is stored in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. The Google Mobile Ads SDK sends its data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Google may process that data on servers outside your country, under its own safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data (for example by adding a new SDK), we will update this page and the effective date above before the new version of the game is released, and mention the change in the store’s release notes. If a change requires your consent, the game will ask for it before it applies.
12. Contact and grievances
